Akwa Ibom State government has set up a five-man committee to compile projects executed by the Udom Emmanuel administration from May 2015 to 2019.

The governor, while speaking at the inauguration of the committee yesterday at the State Exco Chambers, Government House, Uyo, said the essence of the five-man verification team was in line with his commitment to the principles of transparency and due process, adding that they must look at the cost implications and the work done so far.

The team, headed by the Commissioner for Works, Mr. Ephraim Inyangeyen, was charged to submit its report on or before May 29, 2019.

The government urged all heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to partner with the committee so as to gather accurate information.
