Umunede monarch commends tasks on devt

The Obi of Umunede Kingdom in Ika North Local Council of Delta State, Dr. Ezeagwu Ezenwali, has commended sons and daughters of the kingdom for contributing to its development.

Speaking during the official commissioning of Ede Club House at Umunede, the traditional ruler noted that developing Umunede Kingdom by the indigenes remained the best way to attract more development to the area.

He stressed the importance of love and unity among the people, urging them to maximise the natural and human resources bestowed on them to their advantage.

Earlier, National Chairman of Ede Club, Chief Augustine Aghaulor, while thanking God for helping members to accomplish the feat, said witnessing the completion of the club was a great fulfillment.

He observed that the edifice made possible by the sacrifice and commitment of both club members and good-spirited members of society, adding: “This Club House shall be open to all; it shall be for the mentorship of our teenagers and youths in the area of career development.

“It shall also be a rallying point for the social, political and infrastructural development of our kingdom.”
