Vantage Migration collaborates with Royal Art Academy to produce HAMMER in Nollywood

While we may choose to focus on the hype and the trend of #HammerTheMovie, have you thought about the executive producers and producers of this movie? Those from whom this piece was conceived, birthed and nurtured.

A popular verse in the holy book says, “by their fruits, we shall know them”. This simply means that when two great minds combine ideas and work toward a common course, you don’t expect anything but excellence. Vantage Migration and Royal Art Academy collaborated to give us a taste of quality in the movie project; HAMMER.

Vantage Migration is an international educational consulting firm spearheaded by Dr. Linda Iheme – the executive producer of HAMMER. She and her team @vantagemigration specialises in teaching graduate students how to secure scholarships and study loans for their post-graduate studies abroad.

Let me tell you a little bit about the CEO of Vantage Migration –Dr Linda Iheme. Dr. Linda is a Nigerian-Canadian Educational Consultant, Dentist, and Community Development expert. She has her graduate degree in Public Health and Health Systems from the University of Waterloo, Canada, where she studied on full scholarship and won several leadership and academic awards. She is a passion-driven leader, a State Alumni and trained social entrepreneur from the University of Connecticut, USA, sponsored by the American Government. In 2014, she was among the youth leaders invited and celebrated by the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Locally, Dr. Linda recently funded a school building project (Land, Classrooms and STEM Lab) through an NGO — Cleverminds Educational Foundation, to build a free primary school for orphans and out-of-school children in Iyara community of Delta state. As a way of creating global opportunities for people, Dr. Linda through Vantage Migration has sponsored 15 Nigerian youths to travel to different countries abroad, all expenses paid within the last 24 months.

Working with Royal Art Academy to produce Hammer was a well thought out project to create a story every young Nigerian can easily relate to. Royal Art Academy is a film school based in Lagos, Nigeria and Houston, America. Founded by Emem Isong-Misodi in 2010, it offers practical and professional courses in Acting, Directing, Editing, Cinematography and Screenwriting. The academy has discovered and trained many talents who have gone on to become big names in the Nigerian movie industry; Nollywood.

It is from the grit of these two great women – Dr. Linda Iheme of @VantageMigration and Emem Isong-Misodi of @RoyalArtAcademy that #HammerTheMovie was produced.

Perhaps, this explains the reason #HammerTheMovie has an exceptional message delivery. I can’t agree less and we can’t expect less either. Speaking to TV stations at the movie premiere, Dr. Linda Iheme, the executive producer of HAMMER stated that “although there are many ways to ‘Hammer’ or to make it in life especially for young adults and graduates, it doesn’t have to be the wrong ways”. She added that #HammerTheMovie is not just condemning and pinpointing these vices, but it also provides solutions.
