Former Chairman of the Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission (RMFC), Elias Mbam, yesterday, urged the South East to accept and support the candidacy of Bola Tinubu, saying his programmes and policies would benefit the zone.
He stated that the former Lagos State governor and his running mate have the capacity, as well as what it takes to deliver to Nigerians. He noted that he proved himself when he piloted affairs of Lagos.
Mbam, who is South East Director, Support Group Coordination Directorate for the Tinubu-Shetima 2023 Presidential Project, stated this in Enugu during a meeting of the group.
Mbam said: “The support groups drive the process. In other words, the failure or success in an election is mainly determined by the success or failure of support groups.”
A former Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Acho Ihim, urged the electorate to discountenance age and think about capacity to deliver if given the mandate. He enjoined support groups to do everything within their powers to ensure APC is successful in the 2023 general elections.
