Global music artist Alicia Keys, 17-time Grammy winner, has been confirmed as the headline act for “8Wonder Winter 2025: Symphony of Stars,” scheduled for 6 December at the Vietnam Exposition Center in Đông Anh, Hanoi. The announcement was made by organisers of the annual 8Wonder festival, which has in recent years hosted prominent international acts across Vietnam.
Alicia Keys, known for her work as a singer, songwriter, producer, author, and activist, will perform alongside Vietnamese artists including Văn Mai Hương, HIEUTHUHAI, and the band Maydays. As co-founder of She Is The Music, Keys has championed gender equality and reshaped opportunities within the global music industry.
Speaking of her role in the festival, Keys’ body of work spans more than two decades, beginning with her debut album Songs in A Minor in 2001. She has sold over 65 million records worldwide and achieved more than five billion streams. Hits such as Fallin’, If I Ain’t Got You, Empire State of Mind, and Girl on Fire have cemented her influence in contemporary music, with Empire State of Mind and No One receiving RIAA Diamond certification.
Her creative influence extends beyond music; Keys is the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir More Myself: A Journey, the creator of the graphic novel Girl On Fire, and was heavily involved in the production of the stage musical Hell’s Kitchen, which opened in 2024, earning 13 Tony Award nominations, two wins, and a 2025 Grammy Award.
Organisers of 8Wonder Winter 2025 noted that the festival will also contribute to local charitable initiatives, supporting education and welfare for marginalised youth in Hanoi.
Tickets will be sold in two phases. Early access for VinClub members begins on 21 October 2025, with exclusive perks including Meet & Greet opportunities, complimentary drinks, and bonus Vpoints. Public sales start on 24 October, with prices ranging from VND 1,600,000 to 20,000,000 and seating options from Skybox and VVIP zones to standing areas close to the stage.
Since its inception, 8Wonder has sought to elevate Vietnam’s music festival scene, bringing international acts such as Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, J Balvin, and The Kid Laroi to Vietnamese audiences. With “Symphony of Stars,” the festival continues its mission to blend global artistry with local talent, fostering cultural exchange and offering audiences immersive live experiences.
