Former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has described the emergence of the governor-elect of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, as a true reflection of people’s confidence in him.
In a statement issued, yesterday, Ihedioha stressed that the development reflects Adeleke’s leadership capabilities and a proof of the friendship he shares with his people.
The statement reads:
“Your emergence as the governor-elect is, no doubt, a confirmation of the people’s confidence in your leadership capabilities, as well as a proof of the bond of friendship and solidarity between you and them.
That is the hallmark of leadership.”
Ihedioha described Adeleke as a man of destiny, noting: “You are, indeed, a man of history and destiny. Your victory, which culminated in the defeat of an incumbent, bears testimony to the open secret that you were robbed of victory four years ago, when you first contested the governorship election.
