The crises rocking the Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) continued to fester, as the group loyal to Governor Rochas Okorocha has resolved to boycott the state congress holding today.

Secretary of the party, Obioma Iroagu, who dropped the hint to reporters at the National Secretariat in Abuja, justified their position saying it was based on an injunction issued by an Imo Federal high Court on the 18th of this month presided by justice  Lewes Alagoa ordering the stoppage of the congress.

Iroagu explained that the resolve to approach the court to wade into the mater was premised on the fact that his group had lost confidence in the leadership of the Party led by chief John Odigie-Oyegun.

Flanked officials of the stage government,  he maintained that the ward and local government congresses was marred by illigalities,  fraud, and  deception.
