Dumo Lulu-Briggs emerges Accord Party’s guber candidate
Oil mogul, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, has emerged the consensus governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Rivers State for the 2023 elections.
Dumo, who is the founder of Platform Oil, was adopted as the candidate of the party through a voice affirmation at Elekahia Townhall, yesterday.
In his acceptance speech, Dumo expressed happiness over his adoption and thanked the party for the confidence reposed in him, promising to put Rivers people first when he takes over the brick house.
He also promised to unify the state when he becomes governor, saying: “I am very humbled that you found me worthy to be your candidate. It is with humility and fear of God that I accept this nomination.
“You know that the work has just started. It is the destination Brick House 2023. Make no mistakes about that. We have a responsibility to give ourselves the Rivers State of our dream.”
