Ekiti PDP appoints Olujimi leader, wants exco sacked

Some Ekiti Peoples Democratic 
Party (PDP) stakeholders, yesterday, appointed senator representing Ekiti South, and Senate Minority Leader, 
Mrs. Biodun Olujimi the party’s leader in the state.

They also passed a vote of no confidence on
Gboyega Oguntuase-led State Working Committee, calling on the party’s National Chairman, Chief Uche
Secondus to dissolve the executive and set up a caretaker committee to
pilot the party’s affairs.

A communiqué at the end of the stakeholders’ meeting in Ado-ekiti said Olujimi was made leader because she is the most top
ranking elected official in the state and southwest.
