Kebbi governor condoles Sen. Wamakko over death of late brother

The Kebbi Governor, Sen. Atiku Bagudu on Sunday, visited Wamakko, the home of Sen. Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North),to condole him over the death of his younger, Rep.Abdullahi Muhammad(APC-Kware/Wamakko).

The Kebbi Governor, Sen. Atiku Bagudu on Sunday, visited Wamakko, the home of Sen. Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North),to condole him over the death of his younger, Rep.Abdullahi Muhammad(APC-Kware/Wamakko).

The governor News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bagudu was accompanied on the visit by his Sokoto State counterpart, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal.

Bagudu described the death of the late lawmaker as a great loss not only to his family and Sokoto State, but also to the country in general.

He prayed God to repose the soul of the deceased and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Responding, Wamakko commended the Bugudu for the gesture and described Muhammad’s death as a collective loss.

In the same vein, Sen. Ibrahim Gobir (APC-Sokoto East),led a high powered delegation of his constituents to condole Wamakko.

A similar delegation of the family of Tambuwal, led by Khalifa Haruna Tambuwal, has also condoled Wamakko.

Meanwhile, hundreds of sympathisers from within and outside the state have continued to troop to Wamakko town to condole Wamakko on the demise of the lawmaker.

The late Muhammad, who died on July 14, 2017, a 50 in an Ahuja hospital, is survived by a wife and five children.
