
The condemnation was communicated by State SDP Chairman, Ahmed Attah, in a statement, signed by the party’s Press Secretary, Isaiah Ijele.
Attah described the embargo as an attack on democratic principles, asserting that it was a clear attempt to silence opposition voices.
He urged Governor Ahmed Ododo to learn from the past and avoid repeating harmful practices that had previously hindered the state’s progress.
His words: “The party views this action as an attempt to suppress the freedom of association and movement enshrined in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
