The senior adviser and counselor to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Alhaji Saadu Salahudeen, on Sunday affirmed that the local government autonomy is fully effective in Kwara State.
According to him, governor AbdulRazaq’s stance on the local government autonomy was in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Salahu spoke in Ilorin, when the people of Ayegbami community, Dada, Okelele, Ilorin paid him a thank-you visit over the repair of their vandalised electricity transformer fully funded by the Ilorin East local government.

He praised the governor for implementing full local government autonomy that has resuscitated the hitherto moribund local government administration by granting the councils’ helmsmen free hands to operate.
