The standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing gubernatorial poll, Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, on Saturday said he was confident of emerging victorious at the end of the exercise.

Speaking after voting at Unit 11, Ward 9, Gantry, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government, he commended the process and massive turnout of eligible voters.

He stated, “I am confident that I will win this election at the end of the day.”

While commending the process, Oyebamiji that the development “shows that people are not intimidated and generally, things are going on fine across the state.”

On possible violence in Ikire later today, he tasked security agencies to be proactive by ensuring effective security for all in the overall interest of Osun State and Nigeria.

Commenting on a lawmaker that was allegedly arrested in Ikire, he said that “I want to assure that the police will do their job.
