The new Director, Youth Mobilisation, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Movement in Cross River State, a support group of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Cross River, Hon. (Obol) Cyril Omini, has vowed to mobilise youths across the state in support of the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu in 2027.

Hon Omini, who represents Yakurr 1 Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, made the promise while speaking with journalists in Calabar on Tuesday, in reaction to his appointment as the state youth mobilisation director of RTIFN.

The Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria Movement is out to promote and enlighten people on the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in office.

The movement is driven by four cardinal themes: ‘We Say No To Violence’, ‘We Stand By His Mandate To Drive Nigeria Forward’, ‘Together, We Build The Nation Of Our Dream’, and ‘No Pain, No Gain! We Have To Go Through This And Support Mr. President In His Great Works To Move Nigeria To Greater Heights’.

Hon Omini, who is also the House Committee chairman on Public Accounts, expressed deep appreciation to the Founder-in-Chief of the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) movement, Barr. Seyi Tinubu; the National Coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Bala; and the State Coordinator, Engr. Anjor Obande, for the appointment, which he described as a call to greater service and responsibility, pledging to mobilise and engage young people across the state in support of progressive governance and national

“Pleased to announce my appointment as the Cross River State Director of Youth Mobilisation for RTIFN (Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria). We’ve moved from promises to progress, and now it’s about action. To the Youth of Cross River State, this is our chance to be part of the solution,” he stated.

The legislator emphasised that youth participation remains critical to sustainable development, noting that young people constitute a significant demographic whose energy and innovation must be harnessed to advance Cross River State and Nigeria at large.

He reminded members of the group that their role includes explaining government policies in simple terms, correcting misinformation, and engaging citizens through town hall meetings.

Hon. He further called on youths across Cross River State to continue supporting the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Cross River State administration led by Governor Bassey Otu, stressing that sustained cooperation and unity are essential for delivering the dividends of democracy beyond 2027.

According to him, RTIFN provides a platform to amplify youth voices while reinforcing confidence in ongoing reforms and development initiatives at both federal and state levels.

Political observers, supporters, stakeholders, and social media commentators in the state and beyond have since congratulated the lawmaker, expressing confidence in his capacity to drive effective youth mobilisation and strengthen the RTIFN movement across Cross River State.
