Firms to construct 1000 housing units in Abuja, Lagos, Enugu

Housing Development giants, HFP Engineering (Nig) Ltd and AG Mortgage Bank Plc have agreed to enter into global housing development agreement for the construction of residential estates in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Lagos and Enugu.

Under the agreement, HFP shall deploy its expertise and resources to construct over 1000 housing units while AG Mortgage Bank Plc provides mortgages to buyers.

The project slated to commence in the first quarter of 2019, will provide affordable housing for Nigerians particularly those in the low and medium income bracket using AG Mortgage Bank’s existing land resources.

The Bank is also working out partnership with funding institutions such as the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) and the Family Home Funds (FHF) with the aim of providing mortgages on affordable terms to buyers.

HFP has been at the forefront of affordable housing developments all over Nigeria including the iconic Victoria Garden City (VGC) and Dolphin Housing Estate in Lagos.
