10dollar signs Queen Staphire, Iboy MP, pledges commitment to industry

Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of 10dollar Entertainment Groups, Muyiwa Otedola, has signed two up-and-coming artists, Queen Staphire, and Iboy MP, with a promise to invest in the entertainment industry to enable it to compete internationally.

At the event in Lagos, Otedola hinted that the company plans to open a multi-million dollar entertainment deal through Public Private Partnership (PPP).

The businessman who said that part of the company’s plans includes nurturing up-and-coming artists, stressed that the outfit represents the future of the industry, and would impact various aspects of the industry.

The realisation of these, he explained, would be through some of his entertainment brands such as 10dollar Show, 10dollar Music, 10dollar Entertainment, and 10dollar App.

He said: “My desire is to see young artists succeed and overcome their challenges. This is my drive. A lot of artists have passed through us. We have supported several popular artists in the industry, and have promoted, raised and exposed thousands of up-and-coming artists to the spotlight through the regular shows that 10dollar Group organises.

“We have been supportive to the up-and-coming artistes in the area of providing musical content, promoting their songs, and organising street shows for them to exhibit their talents to the world. We will not relent in our quest to continue to promote up-and-coming artists to the world, and also take the Nigerian entertainment industry to the next level. We believe up-and-coming artists are the future of the industry.”
