Ace Afrobeat hit maker, Asha Gangali, has once again proved to be ahead of the game as his new hit single ‘Miss You’, floored other songs to rank first on Apple ITunes.
Following the singer’s announcement of the single which features international export, Naomi, on June 24, the song has been rising and dwarfing all the songs on Boomplay, Spotify and other music streaming platforms
The acceptance from the public has also been alarming considering the social media engagement rate across all platforms.
Asha Gangali remains one of Nigeria’s trending and most discussed artiste, who has remained on the block for over two decades, making good music and projecting other artistes who are now influential on the music scene.
This week, It was revealed that ‘Miss You’ is officially topping the iTunes charts in Nigeria above Mavins’ Overdose, Asake’s Sungba, Iyanya’s Puna and Kizz Daniel’s Buga.
Other international digital streaming platforms like Deezer, Audiomack and Spotify are currently on the rise with Asha Gangali’s creeping into the best spot.
The Afropop crooner who is also known as ‘Young OG’, has worked with a number of A-list artists over the years and has discovered and projected many talents who have now grown into A-list stars today. Young OG has once again created the magic vibe for his new single ‘Miss You’.
Asha collaborated with one of today’s hitmakers, an award-winning US-based producer, EMX Beatz and a rising R&B singer Naomi, the result is a classic jam.
The single’s official music video was shot in Lagos and Dallas Texas by ace Director Starox.
