After selling out the 12,500-capacity SSE Arena (formerly known as Wembley Stadium) in London, in 2019, Burna Boy’s prowess as an electrifying stage performer was as convincing as daylight. Two years later with a Grammy-winning album, and myriads of global performances, Burna Boy is back with a new record; this time, he is the first Nigerian artiste to sell out the 20,300-capacity stadium in Paris, twice.

As part of The Spacedrift tour, the Paris show was the African Giant’s fourth concert of 2022, as he had previously performed to sold-out crowds in Dublin, Geneva and Manchester.

With concerts at the Afro Nation, Puerto Rico, on March 24, Pechanga Resort and Casino on March 26, and ultimately, the Madison Square Garden, New York on the March 28, Burna Boy is cementing his position as Africa’s most sought after and talented performer. And it is interesting to see it unfurl.
