All is now set for the grand finale of the Glo Battle Of The Year competition held today in Lagos. The show will feature the Bboy, Bgirls, and Breakdance Crew final dance battles, while some leading Nigerian superstars including Davido, Simi and Teni will be on hand to thrill the audience.

Meanwhile, ahead of the grand finale, organsers recently treated fans to a great show, as contestants slugged it out in the semi-final stage of the dance competition. Staged at the Eko Convention Centre, guests were treated to an evening of dance, music and comedy, as notable Nigerian artistes took their turns on the big stage to entertain the audience before eventually paving the way for the contestant to battle for places in the finals.

Viewers at home were also not left out in the fun, as the gig was live on GloTV – Globacom’s video streaming app.
  
The semi-final witnessed four dance category battles and also featured top-flight comedy and music performances. In the end, one of the fans’ favourites, Isikonko, emerge as the winner, while Lil Conqueror triumphantly conquered the Krumping dance category.
 
The energy from the stage to the crowd was at its peak during the Afro dance finals. Angela from Abuja amazed the crowd with her African dance steps but was defeated by Izzy Twist.

During their exhilarating comedy performances, ace comedians Bovi and MC Forever who commended Globacom for giving dancers the opportunity to make a career out of dancing also had the fans reeling with laughter.
  
Another key highlight of the show was a performance by superstar, Olamide, who treated guests to some of his hits. The excitement was heightened further with the electrifying performance of Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, who kept the audience dancing and singing along for over 40 minutes. It was truly a night of unlimited entertainment.
