Weeks after asking about his whereabouts on this platform, former Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has returned to the social scene.

The former governor announced his comeback a couple of weeks ago at the valedictory/tribute session for the late Olorogun Felix Ovuodoroye Ibru, the first civilian governor of the state, who died some months ago after a brief illness.

However, if there was anyone who shone like a million stars at the event then, it was no other than Uduaghan.

High Society was again happy to catch a glimpse of the medical doctor, who has before now recoiled into his shell.

Known for his oratory and comical speeches, the former governor rattled the crowd with his glowing tribute that nearly moved many to tears.

Until lately, the name Uduaghan evoked awe in the oil-bearing state and he was always the darling of many high-octane events.

For eight years, he wielded power as he wished; hence rose to become a prominent governor in the Niger Delta region.

But after his tenure expired, he went into the background and little or nothing was heard of him, but with his recent public appearance, many have began to say in hush-hush tone that the once gregarious man may have found his swagger again, and who knows?
