Fashion is a perfect way to show one’s cultural identity. A number of people struggle between wearing their indigenous fabric and foreign clothing in corporate settings. It is also the case with Africans who prefer to wear indigenous African clothing to corporate workplaces but feel the traditional styling is rather too enormous for corporate settings.

Fortunately, the brilliant African fashion designers have evolved to styling indigenous African fabrics corporately, away from the gigantic styles of boubou, agbada, danshiki and others.

So if you want to wear a work cloth uniquely devoid of Western fabric but in Western (corporate) styles, the African fabrics such as Adire, Ankara and other traditional fabrics styled corporately would give you the funky corporate elegant look you desire.

With the excellent fashion designers in Nigeria and other parts of Africa, that African print or fabric styled in fitting corporate gown, skirt and top/jacket, trousers and shirt/ jacket would make you stand out in the crowd.
