The spotlight is on the leading ladies of the romantic comedy ‘The Reunion’- Lillian Esoro, Tana Adelana, Mercy Aigbe, and Mercy Johnson. These notable actresses, though with support from their male counterparts, put up a delightful performance that made the romantic comedy with the signature of Thomas Odia, tick. Written by Voke Ometan and Produced by the Canadian based entrepreneur Faith Ojo, the director Thomas Odia pulled a cast that gave the movie- about four old girls who let out some intriguing secrets at a school reunion event, its acting credits.

Lillian Esoro
Delectable actress, Lillian Esoro played Ufoma in ‘The Reunion’ and she acquitted herself as an actress that plays a role in the hilt. Ufoma, the character Lillian interpreted was the workaholic housewife who had a dotting husband (Femi Jacobs). Both Lillian and Jacobs provided much of the laughter the movie offered with the portrayal of their roles. An actress and mother who is an alumnus of the University of Abuja, Lillian had her break in the 2005 soap opera titled ‘Extended Family’, but critics hold that she became noticeable as an actress when she featured in the long-running television series titled ‘Clinic Matters’. The star of ‘Taste of Love’ another television series has gone on to feature n a couple of movie production including ‘Secret Room,’ ‘A Lot Like Love’ and ‘Fools Paradise’.

Tana Adelana
ACTRESS, producer, model, television presenter, and entrepreneur, Christiana Nkemdilim Adelana played Lola in ‘The Reunion’ and the recipient of the 2017 City People Award for best-supporting actress played the role to the hilt. The University of Lagos alumnus who also studied Leadership and Management in the UK was believable as Lola, the single parent who was the centre of every joke in the movie. Popularly known as Tana, the delectable actress came into the spotlight as a show host from where she made her debut on the television series titled ‘Disclosure’. Producer of the movie ‘Quick Sand’ which she produced under her production company Tana Adelana Productions, Tana has continued to earn movie roles because of her talent. Movies that have benefited from her shimmering talent include ‘Champagne’, ‘Two Brides and a Baby’, ‘Single and Married’, ‘Baby Daddy’ and ‘Body language’.

Mercy Aigbe
MERCY Aigbe has proved over time that she is a dependable actress. The Edo born actress showed the stuff that she is made of when she pulled off the role of Tosin in ‘The Reunion’ and she did it so effortlessly. An actress, model, and producer, the University of Lagos graduate of creative arts played Tosin, the wife of the extremely busy politician (Jide Kosoko), who had little or no time for her. This got the character of Tosin to indulge in all manner of vices. An actress of plenty credit, the well-married actress has taken part in so many critically acclaimed movies including ‘Satanic’, ‘Okanjua’, ‘Ihamo’, ‘Oju Ife’, ‘Omoge Osas’, ‘200 Million’ and ‘Victims’ which she produced. Mercy has equally won a couple of awards including the City People Entertainment Yoruba Movie Personality of the year (2015) and the best actress in the Yoruba award organized by City People Award.

Mercy Johnson
MERCY Johnson-Okojie played Amaka in ‘The Reunion’ and the native of Ihima in Kogi State showed stuff as the very naïve Amaka who was raped by her school principal and who had to let out the secret during the reunion event. As always, the well-married actress gave a believable performance. An actress of vast credit, Mercy is, without doubt, one of the visible faces on the Nigerian home video landscape acting-wise. The actress, wife, and mother have risen from her debut movie role in 2003, to become one of the sectors most sought after actresses, who play the lead mostly.

In fact, it will be stating the obvious to say that chocolaty skinned and soft-spoken actress whose hobbies include traveling and watching movies sits pretty comfortably on the list of the sector’s most enterprising, engaging and emerging female actors. Star of Dickson Ireogbu’s ‘Kill The Bride’, Mercy has taken part in countless movie productions including ‘Last Kiss’, ‘Under Control’, ‘Kezziah’, ‘Emotional Blunder’, Dumebi, ‘Under the Sky’, ‘Married to the Enemy’, ‘My Heart your Home’, ‘Greatest Sacrifice’, ‘One Chance’, ‘Secret Game’, ‘Women in Power’ and ‘Desperate Ladies’.
