Ikeja Club, at its premises at 23, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos recently celebrated its 56th anniversary and inducted new members for 2022.

It was a colourful event, which was well attended by dignitaries in the society. The Emir of Kano, His Imperial Majesty, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero attended the event in his royal splendour, coming all the way from Kano. He was the royal father of the day. His Royal Majesty, Oba (Prof.) Abdulkabir Obalanlege, the Olota of Ota was also there looking regale. He was the royal special guest of honour.

Other traditional rulers in attendance include Oniba of Iba Kingdom, Oba Sulaiman Raji Adesina; Olofin of Isheri, Oba Sulaimon Adekunle Bamgbade; Oba Najeem Aberejo, the Onishasha of Shasha Kingdom and Oba Bababtunde Nasiru Akanbi Lawal.
