Mercy Johnson, hubby herald 2020 with Henod Luxury Hotels

Award-winning actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie and her family celebrated the Christmas holidays in a special way with friends and family with the launch of Henod Luxury Hotel situated in the Abule Egba area of Lagos.

The hotel, which is owned by the actress’ husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie, was opened by the chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomole, ably represented by the Federal Commissioner, representing Edo State at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Victor Egboigbe.

In his remarks, he applauded the passion and hard work Prince Okojie had put in to create such an edifice.

Speaking on the idea behind the hotel, Prince Odi Okojie said, “For me, creating a beautiful, enabling environment for people to relax and have fun, is something that I have always wanted to do. People ask why Abule Egba, and I say that creating a niche market for yourself in a place where people haven’t begun to populate is a blue ocean strategy that I have adopted and I believe would thrive.

While celebrating with friends and guests, Mercy Johnson Okojie in an excited voice said, “I am super proud of my husband because I know he put a lot of thought process into this, I can’t wait for people to come to the hotel and experience the pleasures of the place.”

Special guests at the event included former Commissioner of Budget Planning and Economic Development in Edo state, Dr. Chris Ebare; Honourable Seid Oshiomole, Odunma of Uromi, Hon. Chief, Robert Okoinemen and Kiki Okewale, CEO of HopeFashion.

Henod Luxury hotel boasts of a massive structure with a club, bar, hotel rooms, pool and restaurant, is situated at 12/14 Akintola Street, off Ahmed Muhammed street, Abule Egba, Lagos.
