One year after son’s death, Kayode Ajulo smiles again with new baby boy
Celebrity lawyer and top politician, Kayode Ajulo, and his wife, Kofoworola, are surely in great mood, following the recent arrival of a baby boy into their fold.
The family was devastated some months ago when they lost their six-year-old son, Kayikunmi, in an auto-crash in Abuja.
But rather than wallow in endless grief, the activist lawyer and former national scribe of the Labour Party (LP) swiftly bounced back and used the episode to further drive his passion for the safety of children, especially on the roads, through the Master Kayikunmi Kayode-Ajulo Memorial Foundation NGO that rose from the ashes of Kayikunmi’s death.
Funded solely by Ajulo and the bank account of his late child, the NGO is campaigning for the establishment of policies that would ensure the safety of children everywhere.
Already, the Foundation has begun a campaign to stress the importance of child seats and seat-belts in vehicles.
