Port Harcourt Fashion Week 2023 set to enhance growth, sustainability

The Garden City, Port Harcourt (PH) is set to host designers, fashion enthusiasts, and personalities from around the continent for this year’s edition of Port Harcourt Fashion Week (PFW).

The Garden City, Port Harcourt (PH) is set to host designers, fashion enthusiasts, and personalities from around the continent for this year’s edition of Port Harcourt Fashion Week (PFW).

In order to earnestly promote and harness indigenous brands, the spotlight for this year’s PFW would be on homegrown models, fashion designers both established and upcoming, photographers, bloggers, journalists and buyers.

The PFW 2023 which is billed to hold from September 15-16 at the Aztec Arcum Event Centre PH, would be a celebration of creativity, style and innovation as it projects indigenous brands and creatives on the global stage.
  
The two days event will feature fashion exhibitions, exciting runway showcases and business of fashion summit for entrepreneurs.  Speaking on the objective of the event which is in its third edition, the convener of PFW Ngozi Anyiam, noted that the show was established in 2019 with the aim of empowering and showcasing entrepreneurs in the fashion industry within the region, through providing a springboard that will enhance trade and create network opportunities in order to ensure growth and sustainability of their businesses.

“The event also serves as a meaningful platform to celebrate our people, culture and heritage.”
