There is good news for fans of emerging Nollywood actor, Sambasa Nzeribe, from New York.

The product of the Creative Arts Department of the University of Lagos and the actor of A Mile from Home fame was last week named Best Supporting Actor by organisers of the New York, United States-based Nigerian Entertainment Award (NEA).

It will be his second major award this year, aside several nominations.

Earlier this year, Sambasa, whose real name is Chidozie Sixtus Nzeribe, was voted the Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) for his inimitable performance in the war story A Soldiers Story.

It was an elated Sambasa that raced to his social media handle to inform his fans about the feat.

His emotional post read: “I dedicate my award to my late parents, to everyone out there that has experienced struggle, to someone out there who still needs hope. This is for you.

“Believe in your self. Please, don’t give up or give in.”

Congrats Sambasa. A notable critic said to tell you that you are the ‘NOW’ and not just the future.
