Sandra Duru Bounces Back

LADY Sandra Duru really knew what she wanted early in life. At a very young age, she was determined to break out from her humble beginnings.

Bent on making a success of her life, she braved all odds, took some risks and came out tops.

The former consultant to the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), who is well connected to several Nigerians in the corridors of power andwho is presently the Chairman of Sanchhy Group of Companies, has bounced back with her recent business trip to the United States.

Sandra, who sometime last year got married to an international footballer, Emmanuel Ebuka Eulobi, was a few weeks ago spotted in the midst of international community, including several presidents around the world at a meeting.

This is coming after she was rumoured to have divorced her footballer-hubby, who recently signed a new deal with a club in Europe.

A few days after her arrival, she was spotted in her new boutique and corporate headquarters in Lagos with Imo-born young billionaire and former commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ifeanyi Agumba, and Dr. Obinna Duruji inspecting the new outfits.

Although before now her footballer husband reportedly bought her a choice mansion in Lekki as a result of her pregnancy, Lady Sandra, as she is fondly called, is also a big item in Imo State.

Recall how she played active role in Governor Rochas Okorocha’s victory in the 2011 election and was even said to have stepped on toes in the Government House.

Some people close to the government said the governor has a soft spot for her and he still calls her his daughter.
