Fuji music star, Abbas Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has done it again. Recall T4T told you about a year ago that Obesere may have ‘recooked’ his style of music.

Obesere Again!
Fuji music star, Abbas Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has done it again. Recall T4T told you about a year ago that Obesere may have ‘recooked’ his style of music. He came into limelight with his Fuji music laced with vulgar lyrics over the years, but with his last single and the one he currently released, Obesere has totally changed his music for the better.

If the two songs are being played on an audio device, not many would know it was Obesere singing. The musician sounds like a younger Afro pop singer of this generation. He sings with so much ease with the lyrics, fluid, to go with a beat alien to his Fuji genre.

If T4T did not see the video of the song on Wednesday, he would not have known it was an Obesere singing.

Bros, T4T must say, on this one, you have done very well. In short, it seems you are just starting a new life in music and one must say, you have started so very well! You got it right once again.

Let this actor stick to Yoruba only
Some of you may question why T4T is always picking on some Yoruba movie stars. He has explained why on several occasions and he is going to do that again. T4T loves Yoruba movies. He connects with their story and acting. Production may not be top notch but there is room for improvement. Gerrit now?

On that note, T4T is using this medium to advise top Yoruba movie star, Odunlade Adekola, to please, stick to his Yoruba language ONLY and not attempt to interject English at some point either to impress or remind his fans that he could still speak the language. And so on his comedy series, Saamu Alajo, on Wednesday evening, Adekola in one of the scenes asked one of the actors thus: “Oh, you ‘hare’ ‘heducated’”? He did not end there: “I can see it in your ‘heyes’”.

Adekola’s mother tongue interference is really heavy because it took T4T some seconds to process the fact that he actually meant ‘educated’ which he pronounced ‘heducated’ and the ‘heyes’, which was ‘eyes’. Bros, abeg, either go for some speech lessons or kuku nor speak English for movies again, na Yoruba film you dey act, so notin spoil if you speak ONLY Yoruba.

Famous Otakponwen Vs Emma Isikaku
The last presidential election held last Saturday pitched two Nollywood practitioners, Famous Otakponwen and Emma Isikaku, against each other.

They have been having a running battle on Facebook long before the polls and a day before the epic contest that has produced a winner, Otakponwen posted a video of himself and Isikaku as two of them boasted that their candidatea would win. It was a sterling example of the ‘Vote, Not Fight’ campaign by the government.

Even though Otakponwen’s preferred candidate won, what the two producers did would have doused a lot of tension among folks who wanted to make the election a ‘do or die’ affair.

As the Governorship and States House of Assembly elections draw closer, T4T is using this medium to advise Nigerians to behave like Famous Otakponwen and Emma Isikaku.

Election is not war!
