After weeks of intense preparations and anticipation, Theresa Attah-Azuzu, 16, has emerged winner of this year’s edition of the Nigeria’s Next Supermodel competition.

The glitzy event, which held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, last Sunday, saw 15 finalists slugging it out for the crown that was eventually clinched by Theresa.

The winner took home N1 million naira cash prize and tickets to Paris and London.

The event featured musical performances and fashion shows by designers such as Clara Okoro (My Beautiful Africa), JP Couture, O’Saunders and Big Ben Kilani.

The competition, begun 12 years ago by Mrs Joan Okorodudu, has produced top models who are strutting international runways in London, Paris, New York, Milan, Johannesburg among others.
