Chairman of the Maritime Barge Operators Unit of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Prince Olawale Cole, has urged the newly elected executives of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) to prioritise unity and harmony as well as foster dialogue and collaboration among members of the association.

Cole also advised the leadership to bridge the gaps that may exist and ensure that ANLCA remains a strong and united voice for customs agents across the country.

Cole stated this in his congratulatory message to the President of ANLCA, Emenike Nwokeoji, his Vice, Segun Oduntan and other members of the National Executive Committee (NECOM) following the election of the association that took place in Lagos.

He commended the members for their active participation in the democratic process, while emphasising the importance of unity and collaboration within the association.

Cole expressed optimism for the future of ANLCA under the leadership of Nwokeoji and Oduntan.

He urged the president to embrace a spirit of peace and reconciliation by bringing together the two factions within the association that has been at loggerheads.

Cole stated that ANLCA members and stakeholders are eagerly anticipating the positive impact the new executive will bring to the customs brokerage profession and the industry as a whole, guided by the principles of unity and collaboration.
