Global mobility and urban services platform inDrive has rewarded one of its drivers, Felicity Eseke, with a brand-new 2025 Wuling XC250 for her resilience and dedication to providing for her family.
The vehicle was presented to Eseke at a ceremony held in Lagos in the presence of content creator Akinyemi Oluwaseun, popularly known as Asherkine, other inDrive drivers and well-wishers.
Eseke, who has been described as a ‘Super Mum’, attracted the attention of inDrive after her daughter, Louisa Eseke, contacted the company to share her mother’s inspiring story and seek recognition for her sacrifices and dedication to her family.
For the past five years, Eseke has worked as an inDrive driver, completing more than 2,766 trips while using her earnings to support her five children through school.
Her story, according to the company, demonstrated how driving could serve not only as a source of income but also as a means of creating opportunities and securing a better future for a family.
Speaking on the recognition, Country Manager, inDrive Nigeria, Timothy Oladimeji, said Eseke represented the resilience and determination of thousands of drivers who work daily to provide for their families.
He said the company’s decision to honour her was intended to highlight the human stories of the people who use its platform to earn a living and support their loved ones.
Responding, Eseke expressed appreciation to inDrive for recognising her efforts and providing a platform through which she had been able to earn a livelihood and support her family.
She described the vehicle as a meaningful reward for years of hard work and sacrifice.
inDrive said its app had been downloaded more than 400 million times and operated in 1,065 cities across 48 countries.
