Tunde Quality

It is on this premise that an artiste of the genre, Dr. Tunde Quality and his Fuji band recently launched a new album titled Asiri Aye (Secret of Life) at Ifo, Ogun State to the delight of his numerous fans.

The album has a total of 17 different songs, including Allalumo Nsolih, Kilasiri Aye, Ema Sowonu, Egbo Talo Sope, Mrs Shobitan, Senuebo, Chief Akinrefe, Olugbayi, Ore Sise, Serile Aye yi, Ibere Ko nise, Imoran mi mare, Asiri Nla Teriyen, Gbona Paddy, Egbe Q.F.C, Alubarika Nimofe and Gbogbo Ara Tolorun Babunmi.

Speaking about the album, the artiste said it was meant to portray the history of the world and how Adam and Eve enjoyed the Garden of Eden in peace before sin came into the world when God’s creatures disobeyed him.

“When sin continued and human beings followed their selfish will, there was a rebellion against God with the planned construction of a mighty city and a tower with its top in the heavens by the Babylonians.

God disrupted the work by confusing the language of the workers that they could no longer understand one another.

“The city was never completed, and the people were dispersed over the face of the earth. That was the genesis of tribalism. The song makes us understand that we are one, we are kinsmen, it was sin that created hostility and discrimination between the different tribes and races.”

Quality, who developed passion for singing since 1998, said he had been nurturing the dream of releasing albums for over 10 years.

“This is my second album. The first one was released about three years ago. Apart from music, I am a herbal doctor, a profession I inherited from my parents. This is what I have been using to finance my music career.”
