Renowned for creating chart-topping bangers like Know You and Feeling, popular and commercially successful hip-hop artiste, Ladipo Eso, better known by the stage name Ladipoe, is back with a new single titled, Shut It Down, an eclectic serving of rap star when in his element.

The new offering, which was produced by Ladipoe, features vocals from emerging artiste Choco Bantis, revealing a more unreserved side of the lyricist – consistent, unapologetic, and rich storytelling.

It also reflects his continued influence on the African hip-hop scene and his dedication to pushing the boundaries of the genre.Inspired by his own growth story, the lyrics of the song explore themes of modest beginnings, personal development, musical versatility, and the desire to leave a lasting legacy for the future as he continued to fortify his impeccable songwriting skill.

Ladipoe signed a record deal with Mavin Records on February 28, 2017, rose to prominence with the song, Feel Alright, where he got featured by Show Dem Camp. He also released a new single, Jaiye, in March 2019 before dropping the hit song, Know You featuring Simi.
