Ayra Starr inks deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, primed to conquer world music

In a significant move that underscores her rising global appeal, Nigerian music sensation, Sarah Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, professionally known as Ayra Starr, has formally joined the American entertainment company, Roc Nation, owned by entertainment mogul, Jay-Z.
  
With the continued support of Mavin Record, the Don Jazzy-founded Nigerian label and Universal Music Group, the deal with Roc Nation is expected to boost the strong ambition of the 19 & Dangerous hitmaker global superstardom.
  
The strategic alliance is poised to catapult Ayra Starr to unprecedented heights on the international music scene, tapping into Roc Nation’s vast resources and network, potentially leading to high-profile collaborations, global tours, and increased visibility in major markets like the US and Europe.
 
Describing the singer as an ‘IT’ pop girl’ with high ambitions, Joey Akan, host of Afrobeats Intelligence, said, “Ayra Starr’s signing with Roc Nation is a fantastic gambit by the team at Mavin/Universal to give her capable hands to match her ambition.
