“We have two brands that have aligned goals. Domino Pizza in Nigeria is different from others in the world. They have local content such as Suya Pizza, Pepper Pizza and others and just like them, we localize our content; we have the Real Housewife of Lagos, Wura, Flawsome and others. We understand the need to localize our content and innovate to be able to succeed in a market like Nigeria. We are both innovative brands that will continue to change our content just to bring a different customer experience to Nigerians.

“Domino has made a good move with this partnership; it’s a brand that has been looking for ways to reward customers. When you come to Domino on Wednesday, they have Karaoke, ladies’ night so, they are constantly upping their game. They want to enhance the customer experience with the partnership with Shomax, for customers to enjoy entertainment while consuming their pizza.”

When asked what Showmax stand to gain from the partnership, she said: “Our mission is to ensure that Showmax reaches every Nigerian and one of the ways we are trying to achieve that is to partner with brands, and Domino gives us that access to get to their customers all over Nigeria. We want to continue to reach people.”

On his part, Managing Director, Eat N’ Go Africa Ltd, Ademilola Odunubi, said: “This partnership brings the best of both worlds of two leading brands in Nigeria. We both have customers across the country and we felt that the partnership would help us bring hot and exciting fun to our customers’ doorsteps.

“The extra spice is that this does not change the price of the pizza while they get the additional benefit of Showmax. We must support our customers in this present economic situation. We are there for our customers no matter what.”

Executive Head of Marketing, West Africa, MultiChoice, Tope Oshunkeye, said: “This partnership is a perfect blend of what Nigerians love, great entertainment and tasty food. We are excited to offer our customers the best of both worlds with this exclusive bundle, making it easier for them to stay entertained and streaming while enjoying their favourite Domino’s pizza.
