Popular gospel musicians such as Mike Abdul, Ebuka Songs, Esther Orji, Chidinma Ekile and vocal coach, Dupe Ige-Kachi, came together to celebrate Gift Christopher known as Minister GUC at his birthday party.

The event, in Lagos, was also his listening party and the celebration of the completion of his five-year journey with a record label, EeZee Conceptz Global.

The artists lauded Minister GUC’s great character describing him a true Christian as his songs speak volumes and portray the kingdom of God.

Minister GUC appreciated God, his record label and fans for their support over the years, adding that it is easy to market ones gift but attention needs to be paid on ones fruits.

On how he combines ministry and family, he said that his wife is the balancing factor, as her understanding helps him pursue his career.

On his new album, titled The Trio and I, Christopher explained that the album, which is his third, explains the multiplicity of the Godhead; the father, son and Holy ghost and represents diverse sounds as there are songs that would make one pray, dance and musically excited.

The 14 track album, which was released on the official EeZee Conceptz Global youtube channel, has some titles such as Letter to Jesus, Man wey God show mercy and Jesus.

Chief Executive Officer, Eezee Concept Global, Dr Ezekiel ThankGod, recognised Minister GUC’s resilience and hardwork in shaping his music career.

He said throughout Minister GUC’s five year journey with the record label, his artistic growth has been miraculous and he has been a gift to everyone around him.

He noted that the record label has been a pivotal force to the growth and development of African gospel music and the entire ecosystem, adding that they have produced successful sounds that have become staple in the African gospel scene.
