Goya Menor unveils record label with first signee, Pitah Brown
Talented singer cum songwriter, Bright Goya, known professionally as Goya Menor, has formally launched his record label, Big Boiz Records.The Ameno hitmaker took to his Instagram page to unveil the label. Expressing his excitement about this new chapter in his career, the talented artiste wrote: “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Big Boiz Records and Pitah Brown as first official signee.”
To mark this milestone, Menor also introduced the label’s first signed artiste, Pitah Brown, through a captivating short film. The film chronicles Brown’s journey, from his early beginnings to the moment he was officially offered a contract with Big Boiz Records.
Menor gained mainstream attention with his breakout Amapiano remix, Ameno featuring Ghanaian producer Nektunez in 2021. The song reached number one in over 10 countries including Nigeria.
The song garnered millions of views on streaming platforms with Shaquille O’ Neal (Shaq O’ Neal), Paul Pogba and other celebrities taking part in the dance challenge. His manager Joseph Oche Udeh played a role in the remix success. It was later remixed by the French DJ and music producer, David Guetta.
Menor has received several awards and recognition including the Best Street-Hop Artiste at the 15th Headies Award, which was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Atlanta, the United States in 2022. He won the award alongside Nektunez.
In October 2022, he bagged an honorary doctorate in business management from the American Management University, while in 2023, the singer announced that he had been conferred with a “proclamatory honour” by the United States Government.
