This edition of Flytime Fest, a yearly concert in Lagos that celebrates African entertainment, artistry, and culture is a spectacular event that brings together some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, including Olamide, Wizkid, Omah Lay, and Zlatan, alongside international rapper, Gunna.

The festival, which celebrated its 20th anniversary, was a four-day extravaganza held at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos from December 20 to 25. Each day featured precisely curated line-ups for lovers of contemporary entertainment experiences.

As one of the headliners, Olamide Adedeji, aka Baddo Sneh, delivered a high-energy performance, treating the audience to his extensive catalog of hits including Durosoke that have shaped Nigerian mainstream music and placed him at the summit of the industry for over a decade.

His set was a testament to his status as a leading force in the Nigerian music industry. When Olamide bought CKay on stage for an electrifying performance of their collaboration, Wahala, the crowd roared as he serenaded them with classics like Melo Melo and Duro Soke, proving why he remains a household name in Afrobeats.

Having had a busy year with an array of releases including multiple guest appearances and the release of his 10th solo project Ikigai, the multi-award-winning hip-hop star headlined the stage alongside American rapper, Gunna, who was performing in Nigeria for the first time.

The evening also showcased Olamide’s influence on the next generation of music stars as Lil Kesh, Young Jonn, and Pheelz, all of whom owe part of their rise to Olamide, joined him on stage for a nostalgic display of talent.

Also on stage is Fireboy DML, Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Peruzzi, Magixx, Orezi, Iyanya, Khaid, and Lojay, all made standout appearances, with Wande Coal and Olamide teaming up for a powerful rendition of Kpe Paso.

The audiences were wowed by their talent, and the atmosphere was electric throughout. One of the standout moments of the event was the surprise collaboration between Wizkid and Olamide, which sent the crowd into frenzy. The chemistry between the two artistes was palpable, and their joint performance was a testament to the camaraderie and mutual respect among Nigerian artistes.

Being his first time at the music fest, Gunna, brought his unique rap style to the Flytime Fest stage. His performance was a highlight of the event, showcasing the global appeal of the festival. He treated the audience to a collection of his hit singles including popular tracks like Fukumean, Yosemite, and Drip Too Hard.
