The youth-tailored project is the singer’s induction into the league of executive producers, as the Afro Hip-hop artiste showcases the artistry of 14 stellar Nigerians who all performed on the album.

From mellowed R‘n’B introspective love rhythms in the Intro featuring Purple to the bass-drowning sultry Afro-pop music in Naked featuring Highlife Soes, stretching on to upbeat rap-laced melodies in the Sophia Lee Soul and Dr. Barz assisted Hip-life record, Energy, or even the Powerful statement record by Julie E. Gordon, down to the modern party-popping drill tune in EA featuring Foxdlegnd and Terrance Anderson, L-Easy presents a confident line-up that peaks in both artistry and range.

Interestingly, the record flushes with largely unpopular acts, except Magnito, who featured in the solo I Be Your Mate, yet the talents shine throughout the project. The only blind spot on the entire album is its lack of a cohesive storytelling attribute as the project looks like a very loosely strung body of work.

However, its stellar tracklisting features selection, as well as sound direction and songwriting on the project, stands it out as a very juicy compilation piece.

L-Easy wears his production hats on this project, handling the mixing and mastering of the album. Undoubtedly, the album is doing the rounds across summer playlists and dance floors. The Maturation is available across all digital streaming platforms.
