Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the Southwest chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and the party’s 2023 gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State, has extended warm congratulations to the National Leader of the NNPP and 2023 presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on the wedding of his daughter, Aisha.

Aisha tied the knot with Fahad Dahiru Mangal, son of renowned Katsina-born business magnate Dahiru Mangal, in a ceremony that epitomized grandeur and unity. The wedding was officiated by the Chief Imam of Kano State, Dr. Sani Zahradeen, at the historic Kofar Kudu Emir’s Palace in Kano, followed by a glamorous reception at the Kano State Government House.

In his congratulatory message, Ajadi described the union as “a celebration of love and unity that transcends regions and political affiliations.” He further praised Kwankwaso for his leadership and contribution to Nigeria’s political landscape.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his family on this joyous occasion. Weddings are a testament to the importance of family values and love, which serve as the foundation of our society. I pray for a blissful and enduring union for Aisha and Fahad,” Ajadi stated.

The ceremony attracted a host of dignitaries from across the political and business spectrum, showcasing its national significance. Notable attendees included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice President Kashim Shettima — who represented the groom and handed over the dowry to Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf on behalf of the bride — former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and former PDP National Chairman Adamu Mu’azu.

Ajadi noted the gathering of Nigeria’s political elites at the event as “a reminder that occasions of joy can unite us despite our differences.” He added, “This wedding represents the hope and future of our youth, and I commend both families for their commitment to fostering unity.”

The Southwest NNPP leader also used the opportunity to emphasise the significance of traditional values and mutual respect in marriages.

“As a father and leader, I believe that such unions inspire us to continue building a society founded on harmony and collaboration. Aisha and Fahad’s marriage is not just a celebration for their families but also a symbol of unity for Nigeria,” he reiterated.
