With the #DettyDecember showbiz extravaganza sweeping across Nigeria’s entertainment capital, Lagos, there have been a myriad of legacy concerts, such as the Show Dem Camp’s Palmwine Music Festival that rank among some of the best live show offerings this period.

It was a melange of culture and youthfulness, Thursday night, at the Muri Okunola Park, in Lagos, as major mavericks such as Tems, Oxlade, BNXN, Yinka Bernie, Odumodublvck, among others, joined the fierce rap duo Show Dem Camp for the fifth instalment of their annual Palmwine Music Festival.

From the highlife music themed set design, to the intriguing lineup of performances, the show was a delight to watch. Tec of Show Dem Camp brought his melodic bars to fete the deep poetic rhythms of his duo counterpart, Ghost, as they performed hits from their Palmwine Music album series.

The Palmwine Music album series, debuted in 2017, is a lush compilation of records that fuse Hip Hop and Highlife music, boosting the renaissance of the Highlife culture in Nigeria, especially among the youth.
