Nigerian Grammy award winner, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, has released a new single, Not An Angel, a track off her anticipated album. This follows her last project, Me & U, which she released on October 5, 2023, and marks her first solo output since If Orange Was a Place, excluding her cover of reggae legend, Bob Marley’s No Woman, No Cry released in 2022 for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.
    
Tems had on Tuesday, December 5, via her social handles, announced that her second single of the year Not an Angel will be released December 8. The announcement came as a surprise to her fans who were not expecting a new release from her as Amapiano fusion Me & U, which reached the top 10 of TurnTable Top 100 is still enjoying warm reception and massive downloads on streaming platforms.
 
Shortly after the announcement, there were over 23,000 reactions from netizens on Instagram channel, who are fans of the Afrobeat star.
