Ticket fare for Enyimba Football Club of Aba’s opening CAF Confederation Cup group stage game against Al Masry of Egypt, in Port Said, has been pegged at £100 (Egypt pounds) (N3,500) or  £75 (N2, 500).

The board of the Egyptian club, as per BSNSports.com.ng, has commenced ticket sales for the crucial game billed for the seaport city tomorrow.

“We have announced the prices of tickets for the first team match between Al Masry and its counterpart, Enyimba of Nigeria, scheduled to hold at six o’clock on Wednesday, at the new Suez Stadium.
“There is 5,000 tickets for the match – in two categories (second tier facing the cabin costing £100, third tier behind a goalkeeper costing £75), while an additional 200 tickets have also been offered to the away team fans,” the club said in a statement.

The Egyptian club has already started mobilising their fans to come out en masse to cheer the club to victory.

It said: “The Directorate of Security of Suez has instructed our fans to begin a unified mobilisation for the trips and be in front of the stadium at least two hours before the game so that their entrance to the stadium can be secured and facilitated to support the team in this important match. #AlMasrySC.”

Enyimba will play their first game in the group stage of the competition in Egypt, and return to Uyo to host their second game against Black Bulls of Mozambique on December 6 or 7.

The Peoples Elephant also have games against defending champions, Zamalek of Egypt in Group D from which only two teams will qualify for the quarterfinals of the competition.
