Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie was voted Player of the Match in Houston Dash’s 2-0 win against Gotham FC in Sunday’s National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the US.
Alozie was announced as the Player of the Match in Houston Dash’s X handle.
It was a memorable return to action for Alozie, who served a one-match ban for a sending-off against the San Diego Wave on September 4.
The 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup star marked her return by scoring two goals in the win against Gotham FC.
She has now taken her tally for the season to four goals in 15 league appearances for the Houston Dash.
Meanwhile, the Houston Dash moved up to seventh place with 26 points after 20 games in the 12-team league table.
