CAF unveils final list of top three nominees for tomorrow’s awards
The Confederation of African Football (CAF), yesterday, named the top three nominees for all the awards in the women and men categories in the African Footballer of the Year awards gala billed to hold in Rabat, Morocco, tomorrow.
The nominees are from the list of players earlier shorlisted by CAF in the men and women categories.
In the Women’s Player of the Year category, Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala is going for her fifth award, against oppositions from Cameroun’s Ajara Nchout Njoya and Zambia’s Grace Chanda .
The male class will see former winners, Egypt’s Mohamed Salah and Senegal’s Sadio Mane hoping to increase their tallies against new entrant, Senegal’s shot stopper, Edouard Mendy in the three-men list.
