Conspiracy theorists say World Cup final fixed

Russia 2018 has come and gone, leaving football fans with some memories to treasure for the next four years before football heads to Qatar.

Before the kick off the final between imperious France and surprise package Croatia, there were predictions of victory for both sides. But as it is mandatory in a cup final, there can only be one winner. And that was France.

However, there was a set of predictions by a Twitter handle that has since gone viral because of its alarming accuracy and the insinuation by the person behind the handle that the match may have been fixed.

The handle, @FIFACorrupt1507, claimed to have now been deleted by Twitter tweeted: “There will be an own goal against the Croatians”, “Mandzukic will score”, “Pogba will score”, “Griezmann will score”, “Mbappe will score”, “Tomorrow France will win 4-2”.

All of these happened. All.

To buttress his belief that the matched was fixed, a fan pointed the France jersey worn by American rap legend Jay-Z while the match was going. The jersey had two stars on it, which indicates that France has won the World Cup twice.

But how can France have won the World Cup for the second time when the match was still being played? Many say FRACRO is a fixed match in favour of France.

But the genuineness of the predictions are being questioned by those who think that the person behind the handle is a fraud.

They alleged that the account was put in a private mode and the handler tweeted a long list of possibilities. These amounted to 41 tweets. But majority of the tweets with unrealised were later deleted after the game leaving the tweets with the right predictions.
