The list of European clubs in line to secure the services of Super Eagles and Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, is increasing by the day.

Aston Villa was the earliest team to indicate interest in the 2013 U-17 World Cup winner, but the English club could face competition from fellow Premier League side, Everton and at least three Turkish Super Lig sides in the race to land free agent, Iheanacho.

Football Insider reported last week that Aston Villa had a discussion with the player’s agent, but according to former Everton chief, Keith Wyness, the Toffees are interested in the striker too.

The two Premier League sides could face competition as reported by Turkish outlet Takvim, who claim the 27-year-old is attracting interest from around Europe.

Three Turkish clubs, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Besiktas, as well as clubs in Germany and Italy, are all showing an interest in signing the Leicester forward.

The report also claims Iheanacho will decide on his future by the end of the month.

The Nigerian started just 10 of the 23 Championship games he featured in for the Foxes this season and scored six times.

Overall, he has featured 232 times for Leicester City since he joined from Manchester City in August 2017 and scored 61 goals.
