FIFA agent hails Brightville boss’ youth development programme

In a statement released by the club, the Sporting Director, Mr. Dominic Uche Egbukwu, a FIFA-licensed agent, during their scouting expedition organised in conjunction with Hammarby FC of Sweden at the Polytechnic Ibadan during the week, said he was particularly impressed with the amazing display of good football and understanding by the young talents from Brightville Gold Academy.

He emphasised that more Akinkunmi Amoos were in the making to take on the world when the Golden Eaglets commence their preparation and qualifiers.

“I’m highly impressed that most of the young talents from Brightville are on scholarship. This is a commendable gesture from a man with genuine passion for sports development.

“We are pleased to Work with him, Akinkunmi Amoo has really paved the way for other young players from the school and we are ready to collaborate with the school to unveil more talents to the world stage,” Egbukwu said.

Meanwhile, 15 signable players, according to Sidos FC officials, were discovered out of almost 1000 young footballers that came from Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun and Oyo State to feature in the recent screening conducted by the club.
