Nigeria’s U-20 Boys, Flying Eagles, will, today, seek an early passage into the semifinals of this year’s WAFU B U-20 Championship holding in the Ivorian city of Yamoussoukro, when they confront the Sparrow Hawks from Togo in their second match of the group phase.
 
A sweet 4-2 win over West African rivals Ghana on Monday has established the Cup-holders at the top of Group B on goal difference, ahead of Burkina Faso’s Young Stallions who trounced the Sparrow Hawks 3-1 on Monday.
 
While the Flying Eagles seek a win to make sure of a place in the last four ahead of Sunday’s potentially explosive clash with the Stallions, the Sparrow Hawks will fight for a result to keep alive their hopes of remaining in the competition after the group phase.
 
A brace by Muiz Adeleke, both from the penalty spot, and one each by Olayemi Ayinla and Lucky Oraro, caged the Black Satellites, who also scored from the spot through captain Kelvin Nkrumah, after the same player had assisted Mohammed Zaidan with their first goal.
